My role at KEYMT saw me assisting with CAD design work for fixtures and 3D proposals, art-working and designing from client briefs using brand guidelines as well as creating signage and wayfinding material for Gatwick Airport.

BLIINK 'is an ideas led multi-disciplined creative studio who straddle the line between art, design and technology'.I was able to work on a wide range of different projects, including storyboarding and artworking on the ILO's 'Public Service Announcement on Forced Labour' and overseeing BLIINK's contribution to Jack Morton's 'Jack Morton Turns 75' project. One of my personal highlights was being able to assist with BLIINK's re-brand and the launch of their new website, which I was able to contribute to by creating wire-frames and mockups and demonstrate my interests in typography and layout.It was a fantastic opportunity working with the team and great experience and very insightful working on such a diverse mix of design projects and in a fast paced multidisciplinary design studio.

I was involved in the day to day running of the bakery department which saw me replenishing stock, taking on legal responsibilities with code checking and stock availability and also representing the department at the store's Student Forum.

Before starting my foundation diploma at City College, I wanted to gain some design experience working in a graphic design and web development agency. I was able to help out over the summer at Surface Impression, where Mr. Pavement and the team were able to give me an insight into projects, the fast paced working environment and how the team worked together and I found this to be a valuable and very inspiring experience.
