By recognizing and understanding the needs of others, I've been able to assist professionals in pursuing their passion of being an educator. As a university instructor, I've witnessed that "lightbulb" moment when a student finally understands a difficult concept. It's also been incredibly rewarding help recreational athletes meet physical challenges they never thought possible. As an Ironman triathlete and ultrarunner, I welcome challenges. When I come around the corner on the trail and see the mountain in front of me, I know I cannot move it, but I will climb it. And if I can help someone else along the way, that's even better.
