As an educator of over 15 years, I have developed and provided a well-rounded curriculum and experience to over a thousand students. While my primary focus as an educator is instrumental music, I have a wealth of experience in arranging, show design, project management, curriculum development, and music technology applications. Above all, I aspire to be good person who is educated, cultured, and inspirational. I'm currently enrolled in courses to develop skills in coding and instructional design.Prior to my current position, I attended the University of Colorado - Boulder for a Masters in Music while also completing a Certificate in Music Theory as well as a Certificate in College Teaching. My teaching and research areas include:-Education-Music Theory-Percussion Methods-Marching Band Trends-Music HistoryI currently have several self-published works for percussion and numerous arrangements available on my website as well as performance videos from the last several years.I am: a father, husband, fierce advocate for arts in schools, avid reader, runner, and rock climbing enthusiast.
