I’m the Metallurgy Labs Manager for Southwire Company, North America’s leading manufacturer of wire and cable used in the distribution and transmission of electricity. In this role my primary responsibility is to support all aspects of the business by studying the relationship between material microstructure, physical properties, and performance or service behavior.Before joining Southwire, I worked as a student research assistant at two universities — the University of West Georgia and Georgia State University — and was fortunate enough to work with some brilliant people on investigations into novel semiconductor optoelectronic devices.I’m a highly motivated, detail oriented, results driven professional with a thirst for knowledge and a diverse skill set. I truly enjoy all aspects of my work but I’m most excited by new challenges and opportunities for improvement.
