• Lead and oversee the day to day management of all aspects of accounting operations, including AP, AR, General Ledger, internal controls, cash management, payroll, and inventory• Effectively manage accounting department of four (2 AP specialists, 1 Sr. accountant, and 1 staff accountant) in a broad range of accounting operations, providing oversight and direction to the accounting team• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures• Develop and maintain effective internal controls by constantly communicating with other departments and reviewing procedures• Lead accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, & year end close• Prepare consolidation and elimination entries for the year end audit and interim financial statements• Key person for the company’s annual review with the external accounting firm, Crowe LLP• Responsible for the treasury function of the company. System Administrator for company bank and credit card merchant services and online portal• Provide support to VP of finance in preparation of budget • Work closely with external accounting firm in preparation of corporate income tax returns and the owner’s personal income tax returns.

• Actively participate in the month end close process, including preparing and posting journal entries• Perform assigned balance sheet account reconciliations and create new reconciliations on an as needed basis• Record acquisition and disposition of PP&E• Record depreciation and amortization entries• File multi state sales and use tax returns timely basis• Review journal entries of staff accountants to ensure the appropriateness of all entries prior to posting• Assist other accounting and operations team members to accomplish department goals and objectives by providing necessary reports• Coordinate the year end review by an external auditing firm
