Managing a project to replace a contract worth £52 million over it's lifetime including exit of incumbent supplier and mobilisation of successful supplier.Managing a £4 million portion of a multi-million-pound technology project, supporting delivery of the wider project, worth over £30 million, to deliver state of the art tools to our operational meteorologists.Managing suppliers; I’m the primary relationship manager for our Slovakia based supplier but also work with a second supplier based in the UK and Estonia. This includes dealing with commercial information and considering elements like intellectual property ownership. I also manage the Social Value Commitments the supplier made as part of this contract with us and drive their delivery of these against their delivery plan, ensuring maximum value is achieved.Representing the project to senior stakeholders, informing them of delivery status, risks, issues and dependencies.Performing risk, issue, dependency, assumption, quality and benefit management in a complex, multi-organisation, world leading enterprise scale environment. I have implemented a rigorous dependency management process in the last year that is being used as an example to build wider maturity in the sub portfolio.Undertaking and implementing contingency planning for risks & issues.Creating the project delivery and implementation plans taking into account hundreds of individual tasks and scheduling these, multiple time zones, shift patterns, previous lessons learnt and technology limitations to ensure a successful rollout can be achieved.Maintaining various project documentation, including iterating project implementation document, benefit profiles, quality management plan, etc.Preparing for and participating in various governance and assurance forums to confirm the project is being managed correctly, essential functions are operating as expected and implementing any recommendations.
