The Assistant Warehouse Manager (AWM) fulfills a critical leadership role in support of the Warehouse, Fabrication, and Shipping/Transportation Departments. * Train new hires* Retrain current associates, coach and develop* Develop and deliver personal improvement plans for team members, as necessary* Lead projects in new warehouse technology* Cover for Supervisors, as necessary* Cover for scheduled absences of the Warehouse Manager* Identify quality, housekeeping and safety concerns and report them to the Warehouse Manager* Ensure machines are operating properly and safely* Complying with and upholding all EMS policies* Communicate and collaborate with Supervisors to identify areas needing improvement* Evaluate processes and provide recommendations for improvement* Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident preventative meetings* Assist with scheduling and assignments for team members* Drive productivity in all aspects of the operation

• Management of inbound receiving team accepting multiple shipments/day worth $20M in annual spend. Delegation of responsibilities includes; unloading and processing trailer including 1,000-1,200 packages, timely reporting of trailer status to ensure proper logistics tracking, security log maintenance for safety purposes, acceptance and completion of supply orders.• Manage outbound shipping records; manifest Returns to Vendor (RTV’s), log, track and return damaged shipments, jobouts, transfers and logs for transfers• Facilitate 100-150 outbound customer orders/day; prepare online purchases for shipment or in-store pickup, more than 20k/day average.• Manage storewide fulfillment process; locate, package, and ship 20k in merchandise fulfillment via third party carriers (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, USPS).• Consistently meet or exceed metric goals and productivity markers; 90% and above of productivity goals in 2019.• Manage and execute annual storewide inventory preparation and processing, inventorying more than 50,000 items.• Supervise Distribution & Logistics teams; plan and lead daily stand-up and weekly team meetings, attend weekly manager meetings, participate in weekly district conference calls reporting departmental status to senior leadership.• Mandate safety priorities through regular and ongoing safety training aimed at teaching safety protocol and standards in order to maintain a safe work environment. • Create and share reports with management team including; monthly operations, status reports, backlog reports, container reports.• Three-time recipient of the “Golden B”, an annual award based on exceptional performance
