During this time I led the team that unloaded 10ft high pallets of product (sometimes refrigerators over 400lbs) and led weekly the pricing team. I completed all of the store merchandising tasks such as setting up laptop displays, setting new planograms, and down stocking. I also put up all of the weekly merchandising signage (such as banners and easel signs) around the store and led the pricing team every week. I worked the daily paperwork duties which included monitoring inbound/outbound shipments in order to prevent loss to the company. Starting off we used paper BOLs, and eventually transferred to an electronic BOL system. I trained a part-time associate who went on to become full time, and later on leadership. I often picked and shipped out large amounts of product to customer homes through UPS and other carriers. I was responsible for processing and monitoring shipments of returned product and recycling.
