As an inside sales engineer, I am responsible for maintaining communication with my customers, quoting new jobs, processing purchase orders, evaluating performance for past jobs, expediting orders, and keeping an open line of communication between all departments here at Clark. In addition to this, I help maintain a multi-million dollar inventory system for one of my customers.

I was a process engineer for surgical instrumentation involving complex hand pieces and assemblies. I also developed the manufacturing process on cut blocks for knee surgery, and various other medical and aerospace products. The majority of my position was creating accurate solid models utilizing common machining practices.The second facet of my role was to create fixturing that would allow people of various skill level to load while keeping scrap to a minimum. The remainder of my time was providing support for the manufacturing floor by troubleshooting issues, finding easier/better ways to check parts, or adjusting the router in our ERP system by altering the router to provide a better flow and reduce as much muda as possible.

I was a designer for Orchid Unique Orthopedic Solutions. My job was to know the entire manufacturing process from raw material, turning, milling, fluting, grinding, electropolishing, passivation, laser etching, and packaging. I also created laser etching logos, overlay templates, and provided accurate 3D models for programming. I created and modified standard routers as well as job routers with BOMs in our ERP system.
