I founded and currently co-host, edit, and produce a sports podcast commenting on the global landscape of sports from the perspective of Bay Area sports fans. Exclusively on Spotify.

Assisting the sports department staff deliver complete coverage of the Santa Barbara area by accepting assignments and writing articles about high school and UCSB sports.

Serving as one of the voices providing both play-by-play and color commentary for the athletic department’s official UCSB Baseball broadcasts.

Serving as the goaltending coach for the Santa Barbara Ice Hawks’ 10u and 12u teams, as well as the head coach of Ice in Paradise’s GYHL program and adult hockey clinic.

Promoted to a paid capacity of my previous role in December 2022.

Research and present pitches, coordinate and plan segments, attend sporting events, write analyses, interview coaches and athletes, and record studio intros/outros. Additionally, produce and post social media content. Work with my team, including a producer and several cameramen, to achieve our goals under strict deadlines.

Responsibilities include financing, budgeting, fundraising, scheduling, facilitating correspondence with the school, league, and rink, rostering, hiring coaches, outfitting the team, overseeing the team’s media presence, hiring and managing a team of interns, and attracting fans and growing the team as a campus organization. Also the team’s starting goaltender.

Assist customers while maintaining a polite and helpful demeanor, executing sales, returning and restocking product, and maintaining a clean and professional presentation of the store, all while working in a team environment and balancing personal responsibilities with team goals.

Promote the team’s media presence while attending games. Duties include both play-by-play and color commentary, official score keeping and stat keeping via Pointstreak, public address announcing, writing and publishing game articles via Wordpress, and more.

Taught young swimmers age 5-12 technique and strong practice habits, from both in the water and on the pool deck. Assisted swimmers during meets, and served as a role model for the team. Managed large groups of young kids and enforced a practice regimen, as well as upholding pool safety.

Accept orders, locate inventory, and deliver to customers on an electric scooter.

Oversee the production of all the sports pages in my high school’s yearbook, implement a vision, conduct journalistic field work, take and collect photos, interview, and design yearbook pages.
