Having joined a team with little experience in test automation I took on the task of transforming how we tackled our automated test approach. I took the lead on building a test suite that covered every operational endpoint of the API to ensure all successful and unsuccessful journeys through the software was covered effectively. This software has since been released and used by thousands of customers as well as being hooked into other API's from some of our high profile partners.API test automation was completed mainly using Ruby with a Cucumber layer on top, and any front-end web testing was tackled with Javascript and Cucumber. Performance testing is managed through the use of JMeter.
