CameraPro is a fast paced and rapidly growing Camera Retailer. I was the sole internal Marketing resource for the company, and I split my time between large scale company initiatives, and actively contributing to projects and campaigns. I was ultimately responsible for all internal and external Marketing and Communications for the brand, including but not limited to; Digital and Search Marketing, Events and Customer Engagement Activities, Catalogue and Print Marketing, EDM’s and Direct Marketing. Whilst managing and optimising the day-to-day performance of the marketing function, I also: - Led the company through a strategic rebranding process, - Reintroduced the product catalogue as a premium, bi-annual publication sought after by customers, - Developed and grew the bi-annual “festival" events into sold out days of insight and inspiration for over 300+ attendees, - Played a key role in the design and deployment of the new e-commerce website.

As Marketing Manager it was my job to help develop and oversee the deployment of the Marketing Strategy at Videopro. I led an agile Marketing team that was able to adapt quickly and successfully in response to changing customer behaviour, market conditions and business direction. I managed on-shore and off-shore staff and was responsible for all internal and external Marketing and Communications for our B2C, B2B and Wholesale verticals. I was responsible for the management and effective use of Marketing Co-Op funds, led a "Brand Evolution" including the design and role-out of a new style guide, and created the framework for video case studies, with the successful completion of two videos before my departure. I was a hands-on Manager and split my time between nurturing the Marketing team and actively contributing to projects. I reported directly to one of four Executive Directors, and regularly presented to, or had deliverables for, all seven members of the Executive Committee.

As a marketing assistant it was my job to help develop and deploy the Marketing Strategy at Videopro. Online, this included creating Website Assets, Digital Signage, EDM Campaigns, Google Shopping and Text Ads, & Social Media Updates. Offline, this included creating and submitting press ads briefed by the Retail GM, creating videos for internal and external communication, newsletters and project profiles for B2B customers, and planing and facilitating events at both the head office and external locations.

Whenua Pamamao was a two man Producer/Director collective hiring other creatives asrequired. As Co-Founder/Producer I sourced contract work and was primarily responsible forclient communication and post production. The collective completed post production of asuccessful TV pilot for “Big Angry Fish”, post production of a video campaign for NewZealand’s largest University, Auckland University, and produced corporate training videos forNew Zealand Post.Whenua Pamamao Film Collective went into partnership with MEA Mobile in October 2010and operated under that name until the co-founder and I left to pursue other opportunities inearly 2013.

MEA Mobile is a creative boutique conglomerate specialising in mobile, video and web development.As Production Manager I was responsible for the management and creation of a range ofprojects across the disciplines of Mobile Application Development, Video Production and Website Development. As Production Manager I was the link between designers anddevelopers, directors and editors, and managed the elements of cost, time, scope and quality, reporting to and receiving support from the partners at MEA Mobile.MEA Mobile specialised in mobile video technologies, and I assisted in the management of the team that released over 70 mobile applications, brought to users all around the world by iSupr8, iLapse, Speed Machine, Part and many others.The role also extended to creating engaging video content in house and on location asrequired for creative and corporate clients across the country. I produced promotionalmaterial for the apps created by the team at MEA Mobile. Having a very close relationship with the world of mobile development has opened my eyesto the increasingly diverse way that people choose to consume their media, and in turn,influenced the way I create my own work.As Testing Manager I tested applications to locate any bugs in the software, or areas where UI could be improved. I logged issues and liaised with developers and designers to remedy problems, and was responsible for final sign off of applications before they went to market. I created stills for use in market, wrote and translated product descriptions and uploaded and updated applications in market using iTunes connect.
