Conduct Environmental Audits, coordinate with site personnel to prevent potential NOC/NOV conditions, and resolve corrective and preventative actions promptly and professionally.Emissions Monitoring Systems:Supports Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) Compliance to achieve 90% or higher data availability for compliance reporting, including ADEQ/EPA requirements, hardware, software, and RATA.Visible Emissions Observations: Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly VEOs (Method 9 and 22) of stacks and drop points.Ambient Air compliance:Assist in Ambient Air Compliance Regulatory requirements (EPA & ADEQ Sampling, Systems Audits, Reporting requirements, Loggernet-BGI-SASS, Meteorological stations/data) to achieve a 90% or higher sampling rate.Reports:Timely and accurately complete all necessary regular and ad hoc reports to maintain permit requirements (Intelex).Product/Service Management: Assure parts and services are entered into SAP along with creating work notifications for maintenance to maintain compliance.Quarterly Inspections:SWPPP and SPCC inspections to show compliance with state and federal requirements.Assure waste is managed and handled properly. Includes coordiation with vendor for profiling wastes streams/pickups and record keeping. Training of plant personal on RCRA requirements.

• Inspects construction projects for City Code compliance.• Conducts illicit discharge investigations and associated code compliance outreach.• Responds to and researches drainage complaints.• Conducts stormwater outfall monitoring and inspections for both wet and dry weather conditions.• Performs surface water sampling, delivers samples to the lab, and performs water quality analyses.• Completes data entry, sampling logs, field reports, and other documentation.• Develops stormwater asset management program and implements new functionality to improve efficiency and ease of reporting.• Performs field and office tasks to update stormwater conveyance and outfall map.• Performs annual inspections of post construction stormwater quality (first flush treatment) facilities.• Coordinates activities with other City personnel, contractors, professionals, volunteers, and the public.• Assists with public education and outreach efforts.• Assists with coordinating Good Housekeeping practices across departments and Public Works divisions.• Creates and conducts stormwater trainings for City employees.• Assists in preparing annual MS4 permit report and other documents (e.g. DMR, NOI, SWPPP).• Assists in the annual program review and SWMP update process.• Assists with the tracking, investigation, and resolution of drainage problems as needed.• Manages Enterprise Asset Management (Lucity) database.

As a Water Protection Specialist, I am responsible for coordinating a variety of programs and activities related to industrial pretreatment, fats/oils/grease, backflow prevention, wastewater flow monitoring, and public outreach/education.
