I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a drive to heal and educate those in need of mental health care. I am currently a Behavioral Health Counselor at St. Anthony's Medical Clinic, part of the St. Anthony Foundation, providing top-notch, compassionate mental health care to those struggling with homelessness, trauma, and substance use/ addiction. Prior to my time at St. Anthony's, I worked at St. Peter's Crime Victim Services for four years, providing trauma-sensitive supportive counseling and therapy to survivors of crime, with a focus on working with college students. I rely on an integration of multiple theories of counseling psychology, including client-centered therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to tailor my approach to meet an individual's needs. My personal style, which combines a trauma-informed knowledge base with a warm, supportive, approachable nature, enables me to work with individuals of all ages, sexes, genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, religions, and economic backgrounds. My skills include employing personalized clinical interventions, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and developing strong therapeutic and professional relationships. I am ready to join a team that uses individualized care, group healing, and diverse clinical approaches to instill hope and elicit positive change in clients' lives.
