An experienced Sales Director, leading a team of professional and highly motivated sales people, exceeding targets and achieving year on year growth across our UK and UAE offices.I entered the lighting industry in 2008 and quickly developed a broad mix of clients around the world, we deliver lighting solutions to projects in all sectors; including hotels, leisure and hospitality venues, prime residential, retail and commercial property.In a technical capacity, I work to support our clients with all aspects of their project from concept, through design, delivery, programming and commissioning. I strive to enhance our product performance and ensure we deliver the latest and greatest technology, with a focus on futurepropfof systems and developing products fit for a circular economy.I’ve been the driving force behind many innovative project solutions, including bespoke/custom luminaires for project specific applications; working closely with the design team / client to capture their demands and achieve their desired performance and aesthetics.My open minded and positive approach to life, is coupled with a fun & unique ‘can-do’ attitude. I relish a challenge and come alive under pressure which is complimented by an ability to work quickly and methodically to problem solve. I’m a father of two and love spending time with my kids, their happiness and wellbeing is my top priority. However I often raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK & Charlies Gift, and willingly donate my time to support any good cause. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, cycling, playing golf and following Man Utd and England football teams. I’m not much of a TV person but you may find me watching a documentary or a good series - Suits got me hooked! I’m first in line for any challenge or adrenalin fuelled activity, and always one of the last to leave a party! I’m a social butterfly with a passion for travel, experiencing new cultures and taking in the beautiful world we live in. I also keep a growing stamp collection which has been passed down through generations of the Rolph family.
