Hello there and thanks for stopping by! My name is (Sergeant First Class) Ryan Thompson. I am a 32 year-old Arizona native currently residing in central Arizona. Presently, I hold the positions of critical care flight paramedic (CCFP) and MEDEVAC Platoon Sergeant of a Forward Support MEDEVAC Platoon with Saint DUSTOFF out of Fort Carson, CO. I am also a member of Gila River EMS operating as a ground paramedic in south-central Arizona.As an Army CCFP, I have served two overseas deployments in dynamic operational environments supporting U.S. and NATO allied forces. Most recently, my areas of responsibility included supervising junior flight paramedics, crew chiefs, and personnel managment. Other areas of special emphasis include overseeing programs including pharmacology, blood, medtronics, and medical logistics.My goal in this life is to reach and positively impact as many lives as possible through exceeding quality and compassioniate medicine. As I continue to grow, so too will my scope and dually my reach as I have targeted my sights on a Master's in Physician Assistant and am active in my studies towards said.Beyond medicine, I wish to share the gift of Arizona's beauty with anyone and everyone from lifelong natives to first-time visitors and everyone in between. I dream of guiding camping & rappelling tours to endow others with memorable adventure and courage to face new challenges, just as I have learned and continue learning to do!
