After 2 nominations for a major audit award, a President’s Award from my current employer, and a lot of reflection, I realized something important – the difference between success and failure comes down to how well I develop talent, create clear vision, and motivate people to perform at their best. In 2019, I was nominated as Kansas State University’s Executive Mentor of the Year. While I had coached interns, onboarded many new hires, and guided participants through rotation programs my most recent leadership role, I knew it was time to gain more experience working with a diversity of professionals. In addition to my internal work, and coaching with K-State, I also offer mindset coaching for emerging professionals.𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦Since my nomination as executive mentor of the year, I’ve been working on a number of professional development opportunities for my team. Additionally, I completed a professional design course approved by the Project Management Institute.𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗜 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣?Whether you are navigating the corporate world for the first time, a new leader tasked with executing a tough project, or an organization dedicated to a people-first culture of inclusivity, I can help.
