In addition to my business development responsibilities, I also served as the preliminary legal review for all local contracts and was responsible for oversight and management of our Health System’s contracts, including vendor agreements, clinical contracts, medical directorships and call agreements. I led and acted as project manager for all outside FMV valuations. Additionally, I led a bimonthly meeting with our Health System's CEOs, CFOs, CMO and COO in order to discuss contracting strategy and recommended terms in order to optimize our contracts.

I also served on our 5 year strategic planning committee which develops and updates our health system’s 5 year integrated strategic and financial plan. I was responsible for preparing our health system's quarterly market share report and presenting this report to top management. I also helped prepare quarterly Service Line Growth presentations which required review of volume, market share and financial reports.

I joined Parkridge during year 4 of a 5 year Corporate Integrity Agreement. I led both the CIA Arrangements Systems Review and the CIA Arrangements Transactions Review for Reporting Period Four and acted as the point person for Bennett Thrasher LLP, the Independent Review Organization (“IRO”). In addition, I conducted our CIA internal audit and discovered/corrected over 50 would-be CIA exceptions. As Compliance Officer, I investigated and resolved complaints and allegations of non-compliance and developed and implemented corrective actions. These investigations required collaboration across every major department. I also helped improve our processes and developed new ones. For example, I drafted a process to monitor our equipment and pharmaceuticals that were being borrowed by other hospitals which required collaboration with leaders in surgery, supply chain, legal and finance.
