I was accepted into the Palace Acquire or PAQ program hosted by the Air Force. This program is an internship program whose goal is to acquire and retain talented people.I work as an electronics/software engineer on the ISOON system. ISOON is the Improved Solar Opitical Observing Network. It is a globally networked optical system used to monitor solar activity.

I worked several different positions at Utah State in different positions:REU Researcher: During the summer of 2007, I was accepted into the REU program at Utah State. I spent most my time working on an open source UAV using Paparazzi. I also spent time researching swarm methods.Comm Lead for Small Sat: Starting with the new school year, I became the the Communications lead for the Small Sat program on campus. The main focus I had was ground station configuration.Undergrad Researcher: Starting at the end of the school year in 2008, I started working with a professor working with Software Defined Radios. This was in conjunction with researching solutions for microsat communication systems where high data transfers were needed with low power output.
