I currently serve as the Championship Director for the PGA of America overseeing the 2024 PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. My past assignments include the 2016, 2018, and 2020 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, as well as the 2021 PGA Championship. In this role, my main focus is supporting our on-site team, enhancing the championship, and increasing the impact in our host communities.In just three years, I advanced from an entry-level internship with the PGA of America to leading one of our four major championships. During my seven years in the role, I have been responsible for:-Strategic planning, development, and execution of all aspects of assigned events-Development, analysis, and management of event budget-Account management, activation, and relations with title sponsor, KitchenAid-Team development, HR planning, recruitment, and direction of all on-site staff-Media relations and media spokesperson for the championship-Government relations with multiple host communities-Development, management, and execution of community impact effortsNone of this would have been possible without the countless individuals who have supported and mentored me along the way.
