General Operative contracted to BSW Timber Ltd's through Dixon Grace Employment Agency. Member of the Secondary Production team within a sawmill / manufacturing environment. Duties included: general labour, labelling of products, sheeting timber packs on production line, operation of pin machine to produce pins for pack building, banding packs for storage and general housekeeping.

Experienced member of kitchen & bar staff at a busy seaside restaurant. My duties include serving drinks at the bar, processing customer sales, cash handling, meal preparation, plate garnishing, stock replenishment & general cleaning.

As a customer assistant at HMV Princes Street my responsibilities included: greeting customers, providing assistance with queries, helping find products in-store and on the product database, processing customer sales, up-selling selected products and stock replenishment of the shop floor.

Member of the Process team based in the Emissions Control division. I worked on research projects relating to current and future sustainable technologies. My role was lab based and much of my work involved the surface characterisation of materials. I was trained to operate surface tension and contact angle instrumentation and I also gained experience of particle size analysis and plasma treatment. The role also involved data analysis, modelling of surface energies, manipulation of images, presenting at monthly meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.

As an Admissions Assistant at Edinburgh Castle my responsibilities included: greeting visitors, assisting elderly/disabled visitors with castle transport, selling tickets and merchandise, checking in civilian & military vehicles and ticket validation.
