Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines, used Concourse CI.Deployment of software to VMs using Bosh.Built slack bot to orchestrate workflows related to maintenance windows. Creating a Jira ticket would kick off a series of events to notify relevant people via slack, setup Atlassian statuspage maintenance window, etc. Built features for a Slack bot that orchestrates workflows related to customer incidents. Specifically built a way to schedule an Opsgenie page to be sent out at a future date, along with providing notifications as the time gets nearer.Built auto-reminder functionality for dynamically created slack channels. The use case was for a slack channel to be updated via a comment based on a configured interval. If an update did not occur within the interval, send a reminder notification on a certain frequency until an update did happen. Once an update happened, reset the interval.Used adonisjs framework to build these slackbots. Wrote test using Japa test framework and nock http mocking tool. Also introduced dependency injection into projects to make testing easier.Used Github actions and Cuelang to automate the creation of resources when yaml files were updated. For example, adding a Team entry to a yaml file would trigger a github action which would validate the yaml file. If valid, it would read the yaml file and make a POST to add the new team resource.
