Developed the CUSIP Symbol Service, in Visual C++, which provides all of the information for securities that ML Direct supports. This service handles retrieving the security information feed from ILX systems. The data feed encompasses the CUSIP, symbol, exchange, name, and security type of all securities that Merrill Lynch supports. The CUSIP Symbol Service is referenced in ML Direct for all security lookup functionality.Designed and constructed the Account Selector object in Visual C++. This object renders a drop-down list box wherever account selection is required throughout ML Direct. The interface provided allows for complete customization.

The library slipped seamlessly into the product to replace the existing XML parser, and drastically improved performance.Developed a custom COM-to-CORBA bridge in Visual C++, which far exceeded the functionality provided by commercial software.
