My name is Ryan Tamayo, I am a fourth-year electrical engineering student at Cal Poly SLO. I chose electrical engineering because of my passion for the subject, which was sparked by my Mechanical and Robotics Engineering class in high school. It was here that I first learned how to code and work with Arduino, utilizing sensors to solve real-world problems. I also gained experience in reading schematics and building circuits, which deepened my enjoyment of coding and circuit design and solidified my decision to pursue electrical engineering.As a motivated fourth-year electrical engineering student, I have now developed a strong foundation in circuit theory and design, embedded systems, and computer hardware architecture. I am proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, SystemVerilog, and RISC-V, and I have hands-on experience with simulation tools like MATLAB and LTspice. I have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams and apply problem-solving skills to complex technical projects. I am seeking an entry-level or new graduate position where I can contribute to innovative engineering solutions while continuing to enhance my technical expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
