Initially hired as a drafter for the mechanical engineering department, I worked my way up to Estimator. Utilizing the technical knowledge received drafting cable assemblies, mold fixtures, and working hands on to build the products, I established firm prices and vendor partners estimating project bids for cable assemblies. Creating competitive bid requests through vendor quality requirements via in person interviews and inspections, we increased our winning quote ratio and further developed business relationships with current and new vendors and end users.As an estimator I traveled 25% of the time within the RI, MA, and CT areas and completed quality reviews in person and via conference calls. Receiving in bid requests, I created a Part Price History table that allowed for price fluctuations and pattern reviews to further forecast bid prices, increasing our Quote turnarounds from 2 weeks to 1 week.

Created technical designs for residential and commercial stone architecture. On site template work was then translated to hand drawn and CAD details which would be used as the dictating materials for the stone cuts.Managed customer accounts based on design details. Often would need to make design alterations based on architectural true work in the home compared to on paper dimensions. I would build templates of the stone work based on measurements in the field and re-create the templates via CAD or hand drawings for the shop.

I worked as a member of the team, working independently to form layout sheets of details, elevations, and sectionals.
