I am a recent MBA graduate from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business. I was a member of the team that won the 2019 Adobe Analytics Challenge. I enjoy utilizing the power of data to tell a convincing story.I am passionate about being able to work with data to drive creativity and innovation. I see the world as a series of puzzles waiting to be solved and data as the means to finding the solutions.I believe in the purity and simplicity of data. I believe that the right data can answer any question. I also believe in the ethical and moral use of data, recognizing the power that data has become in our world.I am passionate about using data to solve the needs of customers--especially when I can be proactive in identifying and addressing needs before the customer brings them up.As an actuary I learned a solid foundation of practical analytics, based primarily on the use of SQL, Excel, and VBA. In my time since leaving the career field I have continued to expand upon my personal coding library by learning new languages and tools including Python, Power BI, and most recently Adobe Analytics. I am now looking to pivot this analytics skillset into the world of marketing to bring top-notch goods and services to more people in more effective and imaginative ways.
