Clinical Engineering program at the University of Toronto, where I wrote my thesis on contactless vital sign monitoring using cameras and optical techniques. My interests are in the application of cutting-edge technologies to the field of health care, especially computer vision and deep learning. My other passions include mentoring, game design, and archery.I earned my B.A.Sc. in the Honours Electrical Engineering Co-op program at the University of Waterloo. During the program, I completed a co-op work term at Sunnybrook Research Institute, where I developed software for the automated processing of cardiovascular MRI images to determine the severity of a myocardial infarction. Additionally, I conducted R&D work with two professors at the University of Waterloo: Dr. Joon Lee in Health Informatics, and Dr. Kristine Dalton in Optometry.
