My name is Ryan Sweat, and I am the CEO of EXP Conventions Incorporated. EXP Con is our 501C3 Nonprofit organization’s combined effort to impact lives in a positive way through video games and related mediums of artistic expression. We create and run weekend-long conventions for people who connect with and are inspired by these interests. I will be completing my Bachelors degree in Converged Communications at the Florida State College of Jacksonville this summer.I have experience with all aspects of running a nonprofit organization, event planning, and marketing. I negotiated my first hotel contract at the age of 18. Same with Industry guest appearance contracts. I am skilled in the myriad of Adobe Creative Suite programs and can create just about whatever the job calls for. Web design, graphic design, you name it, I can do it. I have run point (as the writer and main contact) for successful grant funding requests over the years. I very much enjoy working together with others on finding creative solutions for tough problems, creating (and following through) strategies to achieve our business goals. Throughout the years I have accumulated a ton of experience in all sorts of print marketing and digital marketing. Across my professional career I have worn (and still wear) many hats for my own business and whatever other endeavors I may get into.
