As a on site manager for the promotional side of UST, I was a right hand man for Regional Promotion Manager. I was in charge of getting contracts signed from event promoters, trade show promoters, & bar owners. At any event I would be responsible for anywhere from 5 to 15 Field Coordinators and anywhere from 2 to 6 promotionl models. I learned a lot by managing close friends on how to keep business and friendship seperated when we had a job to get done. This is where the seed of importance was planted in me on adult sampeling and consumer relations and how important it is to inform them, let them touch, and the tasting of your products was. Working for right around 4 years in this position we had over 85 big events and over 200 bar promotions to reach adult consumers.

As a Retail Coordinator I performed specific tasks asked from sales representatives throughout the company. I worked for 6 different sales representatives while trying to complete my education. My responsibilities included but was not limited to reseting retail locations, pre-booking & selling promotions and new products, conducting retail sampeling events, building and maintaining relations with store owners and managers, placing pos inside and outside locations, & to represent my brands with integrety and morals for all to see. For 2 years straight I was nominated for RC of the year, obtaining that title in 2006. I was also in the top 5% of RC's for reaching 110% of our yearly objective on retail sampeling cards from 2003 to 2007. This position is where I started to fall in love with the Tobacco Industry.
