The Art Foundation is an artist collective based in Dallas, with founding members Andrew Douglas Underwood, Ryder Richards, Joshua Goode, and Lucia Simek. Formed as an investigative endeavor employing open intellectual practices, the group aims to cultivate artistic dialogue in Dallas through concise critical and aesthetic explorations in the form of exhibitions, interventions and the written word.

The Cube_ A 10′x10′x10′ gallery/installation space built inside Ryder’s studio during his stay at the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program. Curating monthly exhibits in the space while also utilizing it as installation space, the space is at once a communal, public space and a sacred, private space.

A one year award providing studio, living quarters, stipend and time to create. _ During this time Ryder created several bodies of work, created an art gallery, and had an exhibit at the Roswell Museum.
