Sponsored Project: Myself and seven mechanical engineering masters students were tasked to adapt Urbanears' design language into an over-ear, passive isolating headphone. As an extra challenge, they also requested that the headphone should have adjustable levels of isolation. The final design (available for viewing below) is a combination of the human factors research, aesthetic investigation, and material testing.

Goal: investigate and propose ways to improve employee satisfaction during commutes to Scania’s corporate campus.We conducted multiple rounds of employee interviews to find current habits, available options, & preferences. These were compared against existing infrastructure and available solutions —which were then brought back to employees for additional feedback. During our investigation we were mentored by Transformator Design, a Stockholm based consulting firm.Our solutions were proposed to Scania in the video below >>>

Bat-Bander is a collaborative project between Iowa State University and Des Moines based Courage League Sports. The goal is to bring an authentic baseball experience to kids with motor control issues. This glove allows for full swings while accommodating for bat releases.
