As a San Diego native I’ve always loved engaging in local events and getting to know the diverse community around us. Before joining the San Diego Padres, I was a 4th grade math and science teacher in Austin, Texas. While I enjoyed my career and time with a new community, I knew it was time to try something new and move back to my hometown. I had the privilege of joining the event operations team for the San Diego where we managed operations on game days, set up concerts, and even earned a position on the Attention to Detail Committee. These prior experiences provided foundational skills focused on cultivating relationships, immersing myself in diverse communities, and being driven by opportunities to continually improve and learn that have shined since starting with Curebound. Since joining the team, it has been amazing to contribute to our mission of living in a world without cancer.
