In this job I coached children from the ages of 2 to 16 in gymnastics, cheerleading and tumbling. I have led classes and modeled skills for students to learn safely as well as collaborate with coworkers to find new creative ways to teach these skills. I have supervised groups during parties and camps to promote a fun atmosphere while maintaining a safe environment. I also interact with the children and their families to develop relationships and promote satisfaction with their experience at the gym.

I worked to establish a strong sense of community and build long lasting relationships with first year nursing students. I served as the first level of crisis intervention and conflict mediation for my residents. I also developed educational programs to promote education within and outside of the classroom. I have developed exceptional leadership skills through this role that will be able to transfer to my future career as a nurse, including: communication, responsibility, critical thinking, and teamwork.
