• Establish Stratigraphic framework to build 3D regional geomodels for screening phase project: seeking new opportunities for EOR projects, understanding of the vertical and lateral distribution of reservoir facies in the sedimentary column, depositional system, oil volume estimations. •Data acquisition: Sampling strategy and planification of sedimentary coring surveys (2 surveys, 11 cores and box-cores collected off east Taiwan between 2012 and 2013. CHIRP profiles.•Sedimentological analysis: Core description, facies interpretation, sequence stratigraphy, Grain size and sand composition analysis, internal structure of sediments (X-Rays imagery) and geochemistry (XRF-ITRAX), clay minerals analysis (XRD), petrophysical properties (Geotek Multi-Sensor Core Logger), fauna analysis.•Age Dating: Planktonic foraminifera picking for 14C dating. Use and calibration of radiocarbon ages and age models (Oxcal, Calib softwares). Use of 210Pb and 137Cs dating proxies.•Seismic interpretation : 2D seismic reflection, CHIRP
