Reporting directly to the UK CEO, as Global Process Owner for “Opportunity to Cash” I am responsible for the creation, implementation and enforcement of key business processes, driving the implementation and adoption of these across the Exertis UK Sales and Commercial divisions.Working with key stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and to promote new ways of working and system streamlining allowing our sales and commercial staff to work more productively and to be more effective and profitable.

My mandate in this position is to serve as the catalyst for planning and realizing the goals of a major business and technology transformation initiative based in SAP. I direct a six-person team of business subject matter experts that are part of a larger 30-person project team. My overall leadership and operations management skills were influential in senior leadership making the decision to transition me from being the General Manager of Mobile Networks for this special multi-million pound initiative spanning ECC, CRM, Vistex, SAP Contact Centre (Telephony), Hybris, EWM, and web technologies.As part of this special project I oversaw business analysis, requirements management, and project planning to ensure all perspectives from various key business stakeholders were represented. Department leaders from sales, logistics, customer service, accounting, and other areas have been influential to our ongoing success due to a true commitment to flawless data migration, security, testing, and training. Additionally, I manage relationships with System Integration (SI) partners to support technology interoperability.

The major initiative that I focused on in position was to launch a new connected services platform that strengthened reseller sales channels. The platform comprised offerings in mobile airtime, hosted VoIP, employee benefits, BYOD, tablets for education, and hardware leasing. As part of my role I managed business managers and internal sales executives along with third-party technology vendor relationships. From a commercialisation standpoint I designed a strategy with strong margins and a compelling value proposition to drive sales.

This was another role where I had multiple functions of business analyst, project manager, business development, and commercialisation to support the Salary Sacrifice and 360 Mobile (MVNO) product offerings. A major component of our success was my ability to secure partnerships with UK mobile networks to design new employee benefits schemes that could be sold to public and private sector customers.
