I own a small lighting rig suitable for clubs and small festivals. I work hard to provide a unique show for the event, programming in advance and throughout the show to make it personal and responsive.

Responsible for the design, build and maintenance of 11 websites for the A.C. Group including two bespoke e-commerce solutions. These websites were built from scratch using either Classic ASP or WordPress. The Classic ASP sites utilise a SQL 2008 database that is co-located in a datacentre, which is configured to use merge replication from an in-house publisher database. Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure a consistent approach is applied to both our on and off-line presence whilst providing support and advice to the wider marketing team. Created and maintain in-house intranets for several departments including a companywide wiki, which was created to ISO 9001 certification standards. Act as mentor to the web designer in the team. Key achievements: Lead developer for the creation of a new website for our North American sister company. This involved working closely with all stakeholders to create a modern, responsive website using WordPress. The website included an e-commerce element (WooCommerce) as well as the creation of a payment gateway plugin for Chase Paymentech Canada. Feedback for the site was positive from all stakeholders and orders are now being made using the new site. Worked closely with the audio sales division to build a retail e-commerce website to help boost online sales. The sales database was integrated into the site to provide up to date stock and price data. The site uses Classic ASP, SQL 2008 and a CSS framework. PCI-DSS compliance has been achieved and is maintained with quarterly scans. Google Shopping is provided with a live feed to aid Google AdWords campaigns. The sales in the year since the site launched have been very promising.

I built ASP web applications for internal and external use, including an e-commerce store. I provided internal support for the ERP as well as extending it to help improve systems and productivity.I also provided support to the marketing department helping them develop their dynamic web design skills.

Responsible for the design and maintenance of a number of websites which made up DMCWorld.com; this included the maintenance of a custom built e-commerce element created using Dreamweaver, the administration of a DJ based community as well as ensuring that the content on all sites was kept up to date. The websites were built using Dreamweaver and Fireworks with MS Access used to control the SQL 2000 database on the web server. Created statistical reports that were used in discussion with directors to help inform and plan future projects. Liaised and worked in partnership with a third party download provider to create an MP3 download site. Created and distributed weekly HTML emails.

Responsible for creating a new website including a forum for customer support. Also provided basic technical support.

Provided telephone technical support for various software vendors, including HotMetal Pro and PC Cillin.

Responsible for managing the Chesham store including training new members of staff and ensuring sales targets were achieved.

Worked closely with the Store Manager to learn how to run the store. This included attending a training programme and shadowing at other stores.

After a 2 week trial whilst helping at the Windows 96 show in London, I was assigned the task of sorting out the despatch department. I was responisble for making sure everything left the building in time and correctly. I looked after the stock, making sure it didn't go missing. I also helped get returned goods back to vendors.

Duties included assisting customers, managing stock, setting up promotional displays and processing returns.
