Appointed by the Founder and CEO as the Chief Operating Officer of Tachyon Aerospace to oversee the company’s operational process, while ensuring the implementation of the operational policies and strategic planning initiated by our CEO and the leadership team.Because of being involved intimately with the early business and team development of Tachyon Aerospace, I have been positioned by the leadership team to apply our organization’s cultural values strategically to steer the company’s future in a sovereign direction.A prime initiative for myself as COO is to “instrument” the company’s vision building on a culture of credence allowing the team members autonomy. Only with a foundation built on trust and reliability will people discern how to navigate through a high-risk associated Aerospace industry with new concepts and technologies.Overcoming the barriers to entry within the Aerospace industry requires our team to establish and maintain high levels of operating standards, regulatory compliance and total quality management, while maintaining a current level of knowledge for industry-related trends and compliance standards to ensure a cohesive structure within the company. In reference to my professional career, I was fortunate to be able to apprentice in a military-grade machine shop early on after high-school, which exposed me to the levels of precision and basic fundamentals of Mechanical engineering associated with the Aerospace industry. I then ventured on an entrepreneurial path becoming partners in a few local businesses in Calgary, AB Canada, which also allowed me to work as an investor for product development with some local businesses. The understanding of the principals I acquired from these different fields, allows me to work in conjunction with the Tachyon Aerospace leadership and business team to focus on delivering a well-aspected, technology-driven business solution.
