As a first-year master’s student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of New Haven, my introduction to the world of HR came when I was selected to participate in a focus group aimed at improving program efficiency. This experience sparked my interest in human resources by giving me insight into how organizational effectiveness can be shaped through strategic collaboration and leadership. My background in healthcare consists of both administrative and clinical positions. Working in roles that required working closely with diverse groups and understanding their needs, has deepened my ability to connect with people on a meaningful level. Whether collaborating with teams or mediating conflicts, I have developed a keen understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics—skills that naturally align with the field. Now, I am seeking an internship to build on this foundation and my coursework, contribute to key HR strategies, and further explore how my interpersonal and analytical strengths can support talent management, employee development, and team dynamics.
