I had collaborated with them to work on my International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Business Management Research paper. Research Question:To what extent can firm S.Manakchand Jewellers benefit from cost reduction by opening their own wholesale centre in Chennai?Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Directed market research in collaboration with finance and research departments to examine whether it would be cost-beneficial for a firm to expand to the wholesale jewellery business. 2. Conducted primary research of 30 current customers from the retail showroom and 35 potential customers from wholesale showroom to get a better understanding of fo current and potential market.3. Evaluated the companies financial position, external environment & customer behaviour of Jewellery Sector using Financial Analysis, PEST Analysis & Target Marketing methods. 5. Gained a 2% reduction in the cost of goods sold (COGS) per gram of gold, thus improving the firm’s profits and operating efficiency.
