Vice President; Product Owner - Tech Delivery
Current- Currently, playing a critical role as a liaison between Middleware Operations partners and Middleware Engineering in gathering their requirements, scoping the work and translating them into JIRA Engineering Deliverables- Maintain relationship from a technical standpoint with all the Middleware vendors- Responsible for planning out the 3-year strategy for the Middleware products used at Bank of America (Apache HTTP & Tomcat, RedHat JBoss, JWS & JBCS, Oracle WebLogic & Java IBM WebSphere)- Actively participate in yearly budget discussions, strategy planning sessions to appropriately scope out engineering deliverables on a yearly and quarterly basis- Showcase new and upcoming solutions to senior leadership on various forums such as extended leadership calls, partner forums etc.- Host monthly Middleware Collaboration calls with Operations partners (75+ members in attendance) and weekly Middleware Office hours to discuss hot topics, risk, governance, compliance issues and present topics of interest from other teams across the enterprise that could potentially impact Middleware- Work with management in planning out the deliverables for each year and lead PI planning on a quarterly basis within JIRA using Agile Development methodology- Actively leading the modernization of Middleware offerings via Template Driven Interface (TDI) on BofA Cloud Portal and eventually migrating to Terraform- Responsible for designing and architecting the Middleware bulk patching automation on legacy and TDI Middleware instances. This will be a full circle automation with auto update of Middleware system of record (UTracker)- Designed the Bulk certificate renewal automation process which on average will save Middleware administrators 1-2 hours of savings per certificate- Play a critical role as AIT owner by actively remediating RISE deliverables, Risk Management, Compliance and currency- Started learning HashiCorp suite of products such as Terraform, Nomad etc.
