- Currently, playing a critical role as a liaison between Middleware Operations partners and Middleware Engineering in gathering their requirements, scoping the work and translating them into JIRA Engineering Deliverables- Maintain relationship from a technical standpoint with all the Middleware vendors- Responsible for planning out the 3-year strategy for the Middleware products used at Bank of America (Apache HTTP & Tomcat, RedHat JBoss, JWS & JBCS, Oracle WebLogic & Java IBM WebSphere)- Actively participate in yearly budget discussions, strategy planning sessions to appropriately scope out engineering deliverables on a yearly and quarterly basis- Showcase new and upcoming solutions to senior leadership on various forums such as extended leadership calls, partner forums etc.- Host monthly Middleware Collaboration calls with Operations partners (75+ members in attendance) and weekly Middleware Office hours to discuss hot topics, risk, governance, compliance issues and present topics of interest from other teams across the enterprise that could potentially impact Middleware- Work with management in planning out the deliverables for each year and lead PI planning on a quarterly basis within JIRA using Agile Development methodology- Actively leading the modernization of Middleware offerings via Template Driven Interface (TDI) on BofA Cloud Portal and eventually migrating to Terraform- Responsible for designing and architecting the Middleware bulk patching automation on legacy and TDI Middleware instances. This will be a full circle automation with auto update of Middleware system of record (UTracker)- Designed the Bulk certificate renewal automation process which on average will save Middleware administrators 1-2 hours of savings per certificate- Play a critical role as AIT owner by actively remediating RISE deliverables, Risk Management, Compliance and currency- Started learning HashiCorp suite of products such as Terraform, Nomad etc.

- Facilitating a team of 10 Middleware Engineers supporting Windows IIS and Linux Apache/Web Logic, Web Sphere, JBoss and Tomcat Web Applications within the Enterprise CTO and Infrastructure CTO line of businesses.- Centralized the new initiative workload for the team and provide balanced opportunity to all engineers with new engagements.- Supervising all the time and financial management aspect of the team with guidance of senior management.

- Customization of Apache HTTP Server to address the need for bank standard custom error pages and resource management.- Implementation and customization of several n-tier web applications serving several lines of businesses of the bank. All projects entail working with BigIP, 3DNS or FDNS; Apache 2.x or SunOne 6.x web servers; Oracle BEA WebLogic 8.x, 9.x, 10.x. (100’s – 1000’s transactions per week)- Build and management of small, medium and large size web applications using Apache Web Server and JBoss / Tomcat Application server. - Authored and simplified the onboarding of CI/CD module with separation of duties for eCTO team. Created BladeLogic jobs to integrate all web applications to Ansible.- Pioneered in the adoption of Dynatrace Monitoring tool to provide deep dive analysis of JVM state during on-call rotations.- Also worked on many large scale external facing n-tier bank applications. These projects required working in the DMZ, firewall rules in addition to the above components. (over 1 million transactions per month)- Demonstration of project management , communication, organization skills through these small to large project initiatives.- Responsibility with production oncall services. Addressed all severity production issues, diagnosis and troubleshooting of the issue, restoral of application and post problem review for permanent resolution.- Support and maintenance of Bank of America’s Associate Portal (Flagscape) running on Vignette Content Management Engine and BEA Web Logic. Responsibilities included weekly releases, oncall support and daily enhancement activities.

- Outlined the hosting standards and engineered Apache Tomcat 4 & 5 for a hosting service option for internal bank applications.- Also engineered and documented the BEA WebLogic 9.2 standard and build for the hosting team. Currently, 50+ projects are implemented using this standard.

- Implemented a SMTP Mailer bundle for the residential service gateway.- Tested the IAD browser "Opera" and some features of the IAD itself.- Developed the MetaType Service for SMF. With this service, bundles can create configuration GUI pages to present to the user.- Developed an Ant Script to automate the OSGi Test Suite into the Equinox project. The usage of XML Parser API’s for creation of XML files to display the results of the test cases was in scope of this project.- Worked on Gateway Portal Demo. Required installation of portlets via DMS.
