My first work experience was as Research Scholar in Zoology Department of Punjab University, major duties were research and teaching assistanceship (conducting research and writing reports and projects) with Animal Physiology/Endocrinology Lab.My second and more independent work experience was as Lecturer in Zoology Department, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. I was involved in teaching, research and other relevant activities. It was a wonderful experience as liberty in work was provided for the learning, teaching and research. I was involved in College's Research Cell and for some time served as Science Club Advisor. Also, I got a chance to visit many areas of Pakistan for studying plants and animals in nature, national parks and captivity and attending many workshops and conferences to enhance my knowledge of current research.My current workplace is Forman Christian College (FC), Lahore. I am working as Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences Department. I joined FC College in October, 2010. Here my work include teaching, research and a few administrative duties. I am also involved these days in renovation of the Natural History Museum of the College. I am serving as Adviser to the Red Crescent Youth Group here since 2011.Specialties: My specialties are my teaching and research. I like to educate young minds and I like to discover and create knowledge through research. Online education is one of my special interests. I use blogging and social media as tools for education and research. I have a good hand at using software for data analysis including online calculators to installed applications (e.g. SPSS, MINITAB, MS Excel and others)
