Sales Support Reps work closely with Operations and Account Management teams to facilitate the procurement process, as well as various pre-sales activities. SSR's continually look at ways to improve the overall business process and suggest ideas to help grow the business.• Prepare customer quotes based on pre-configured designs provided by sales engineers for project opportunities.• Register new opportunities on manufacturer’s websites.• Work with Account Managers to assist in sourcing products and help assist in pricing strategy.• Communicate with Distribution and Vendors (i.e. quote revisions, order tracking, placing purchase orders, confirming pricing and special pricing requests, product availability).• Prepare and facilitate RMA’s as necessary.• Create projects and enter hours on Professional Services transactions.• Work with Account Managers on creating quotes and responding to RFQ's/RFO's.• Maintain customer files with sales contract and other information.• Maintain customer relationships as a counter part to the outside Account Managers.• Deliver stellar customer service to customers to help drive additional business.• Perform additional duties as needed.
