I am passionate about the employee experience. This is what I love about my current role as an HR Coordinator. I'm involved in the employee experience from recruitment to the exit interview (hopefully there is a while before the exit interview). I have experience leading and developing teams, resulting in enhanced program structures, clear goals, and delivering outcomes in non-profit and retail industries. Both industries challenged me to learn and adapt to successfully deliver results constantly. I thrive on learning and sharing what I learn with others. I enjoy the mental activity of collaborating on new ideas and how to implement them. As a strategic thinker, I consider all potential outcomes of a new idea, clear out the clutter and unviable options, and select the best path forward to achieve results. This enables me to make quick decisions and understand the challenges that the team and each individual might face along the path toward success. I’m a proactive leader addressing concerns, reinforcing positive behaviors, and providing insightful coaching for self-development.In 2021 I had the privilege of Chairing the JVS Organizational Culture Committee. One of our first accomplishments was writing clear internal core values. I enjoyed collaborating with staff from different departments and programs focused on our common goal of making JVS the best place to work. Together we identified what we did well and what we needed to improve on creating the first draft of core values. The first draft was edited and refined many times before it was finalized. These core values have positively improved our internal culture and we continue to weave them throughout the agency. I have a passion for Human Resources and would love to connect with local HR professionals. I'm looking to transition into a dedicated HR role where I can continue to make positive contributions to achieving organizational goals.My areas of expertise include:Employee development, hiring, onboarding, creating actionable steps to achieve business outcomes and goals, interpersonal skills, communication skills, creating reports for internal and external use, and improving processes to ensure maximum efficiencies.
