Program Director
Current-Supervising both our Summer Camp and Outdoor Environmental Education Programs, including day-to-day management as well as yearly planning-Conduct all staff hiring and training, including hire packet preparation for Human Resources-Create and implement innovative training for fall, spring, and summer seasons -Schedule coordination of up to 50 staff members, including 12 seasonal summer leadership staff and other camp departments-Staff evaluation and discipline-Camper recruitment and retention through regional camp fairs and in-house information sessions-Maintain and exceed American Camp Association standards and Alabama School Course of Study-Manage and cultivate our relationships with camp families, donors, alumni and board members using camper and staff experience based marketing-Content creation for all camp social media accounts-Supply inventory and ordering-Collaborate with community leaders, alumni, and donors for effective programs and physical improvements of facility-Utilize international staffing agency to provide a culturally diverse staff -Prepare supporting documentation for international staff to obtain J-1 visa status
