Result-Oriented. Self -Driven. Team-Centric. High-Energy. I like to be at the forefront of whatever I do. Never hesitant to experiment, I am a constant believer of failing fast and recovering faster. A part of the reason why I am able to be what I am is my passion for whatever I do and my ability to learn quickly from mistakes - mine and those of others too. While the fact is that I graduated from IIM Shillong at the top of my class and from Thapar University among the top three, the knowledge that I never aimed for these spots explicitly is what makes me more content and happy. These, among many other achievements, were incidental to my do-it-perfectly-in-the-first-go attitude.I am proud of my varied experiences - both personal and professional. Having lived in 6 states from all parts of India (visited 20 of them!) and worked (including internships) in 6 organizations, I have developed an ability to adapt quickly and turn a team into high performing team really quickly. In my most recent role, I contribute to Marcus consumer platform at Goldman Sachs as a product manager for their user and identity management module. The critical function helps multiple products across regions to onboard their customers seamlessly and also safeguards PII of around 8 million consumers.At Fidelity, I worked on multiple projects including managing an in-house 'start-up' that was tasked with developing a document sharing and collaboration platform to be used across business units. I also helped set-up and run an independent team from India office that delivered 6 releases in its very first year of operations! At other times, I have played a business analyst, a scrum master and a product manager and I have helped teams achieve their objectives despite great complexity involved like with this one team that was spread across 6 global locations working on same product across various channels (web, iOS and Android). My contributions are never limited to my job role - I was part of core committees of 2 InfoFests (flagship technology event of FMR India) and was also the local ambassador of FCAT global hackathon India Edition. I have played volunteer at Pratigya - an NGO dedicated to education for under-privileged kids. I have also been an active member of book clubs at Tata Motors and fun committees at FMR India.During my stint at Tata Motors as Assistant Manager (Manufacturing), I achieved a staggering 56% reduction in CPTV (Complaints Per Thousand Vehicles) and improved CCCT considerably within 3 months.
