Exploratory Study of the Village: Saree Peepli (Pratapgarh, Rajasthan)Faculty Participant Collaborative Research Title: Impact of Pro-Poor Sanitation Programs and Well Being of Rural Communities: The Case of Swachh Bharat▪ Identified different barriers experienced (eg. Economic. Socio-cultural, topographical, soil, climate conditions, psychological) by households in usage of toilets.▪ Assessed the facilitative conditions those motivate and deter the households to use toilets.▪ Analysed the nature of relationship between sanitation and individual and collective well-being.Rural Action Component Title: Operational hurdles in Joint Forest Management Committees and Formation of Self-Help Groups ▪ Analysed the functioning of Join Forest Management Committees in the Village.▪ Identified the reasons for the existing JFM committees being defunct by way of Semi-Structured interviews, informal discussions and Focus Group Discussions.▪ Proposed new rules and regulation for efficient functioning of SHGs and JFM Committees.▪ Formation of new Self-Help Groups in the Village
