My Journey to Founding FunctionFit,My career began in conflict-affected regions, where I worked on UN-led poverty alleviation projects in Somalia, South Sudan, and Kenya. Limited access to gyms due to curfews and travel restrictions pushed me to experiment with my fitness routines. I soon discovered that simple, consistent habits were essential for maintaining health and well-being, even in challenging conditions. This experience inspired my passion for making fitness accessible and simpler for people.Returning to India in 2018, I saw a gap in fitness approaches. Many struggled with gym routines and lacked proper guidance. This personal insight led to FunctionFit, a fitness startup dedicated to making fitness simpler and more meaningful. Unlike bodybuilding, which is often specialized, we focused on functional fitness, enhancing the body’s ability for improving quality of life.
