Dr. Sachi Verma successfully completed her Ph.D. in the Health Services Research & Administration at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a focus on Health Policy and Global Health. She has 7+ years of experience in healthcare with proficiency in Public Health Policy and Program Design, Evaluation, Implementation, and healthcare/hospital data. She has a Master's in Public Health Administration and a Master’s in Biotechnology. She has successfully designed and implemented multiple international health projects focused on Pre-hospital Care, Ambulatory Care, Emergency Medical Services, Road Traffic Safety, and Preventable Traffic Mortalities. She has also worked in Maternal and Child Health related to safe delivery practices and postpartum hemorrhage in Tanzania. She collaborated with multiple National and International organizations and built sustainable projects that cater to the community's needs. She also collaborated to increase accessibility to HIV anti-retroviral drugs in underdeveloped countries. Dr. Verma has coordinated and led the RWJF project on Emergency Department Super-utilizers and maintained robust relationships with HCPs & KOLs by providing them credible scientific information on research activities and Public Health project management. She has also worked on Colorectal and Cervical Cancer projects for underserved populations outside and within the US. She has effectively disseminated her research findings at prestigious public health and global health conferences such as APHA, Global Health Conference Midwest. Additionally, Dr. Verma has a background in biotechnology and has worked in vaccination design and production and identifying the molecular and cellular mechanisms responsible for cardiovascular complications in individuals with Diabetes Mellitus.Dr. Verma’s Doctoral Dissertation focuses on the Impact of Neighborhood Characteristics on Emergency Medical Services times during fatal road traffic accidents. Her research includes the policy implication of alcohol/drug use on fatal road traffic accidents and identifying the barriers associated with health disparities in the US. She is also working on Marijuana legalization and driving under influence legal map across the U.S. that will have the capability to look into law/policy implications on health outcomes and mortality prevention.
