About Sandra W.

I have always believed I should live up to all expectations, and explored every avenue of education and employment opportunity. I made sure that I have given it my all when I have taken on any task. I like to learn and take notes from those around me and be sure to apply what they teach me to what I do. I believe a good instructor, teacher or coach, does not simply teach but must also learn from their students, so all future students of their skill, benefit from the past. I started volunteering in the Hospital world pre-teen and worked and retired from Kaiser Permanente while working during my Fire Service Career.Having had multiple certifications, as well as teaching certificates in Public Safety, ICS, NIMS, SEMS, Train the Trainer and State Fire Marshall, CERT, First Aid and CPR Instructing for ARC and AHA. I was always able to apply these specialties to my professional, extra-curricular, voluntary and community efforts equally. When it comes to any business, I do not believe in hard sells, I believe if a product or concept does not sell itself, it probably will not benefit from false promises. I also enjoy my extracurricular activities. I have been blessed to enjoy many hobbies and also shared my hobby of bellydance as a bellydance instructor. I enjoy team sports such as Dragon Boating, Softball and many outdoor sports. I have volunteered entertaining in the Rest Home Community with my Dance and Choirs. I also continue to serve my community through CIVIL AIR PATROL, as well as other civic organizations.I believe in giving kudo’s and acknowledgment to those who have come before me, as well as those who come after me. I have learned that not everyone is given the acknowledgment they deserve, and respect really should be passed along all directions. I also have realigned with the ARC and I am now active in Amateur Radio and hope to be of use in Emergency Net Groups. I have Enjoyed many extracurricular activities throughout the years, Music, Team Sports and FUN. I enjoyed Dragon Boating from the 1990s through 2000s, including Dragon Boating with the Kaiser Dragon Boat Team as part of promoting Kaiser Permanent thrive. In closing, it is I who have been blessed; with mentors, coworkers, educators and friends who have shared their skills and life experiences with me, and that is what has made me feel successful in life.
