This project was a summer project making a Small Unmanned MeteorologicalObserver which can be described as a small RC-plane with an open sourceautopilot system and measuring equipment that can measure for example wind speeds and pressure for weather forecasts. First automatic flight happened on 18.10.2012.

It was mostly offloading fish from big fishing ships. The process is quite simple you are in the ships convoy where 15-30 kg crates are under -20°C and with a team of 5 men you pick every single one of those boxes out of the ship. The process takes about 7-12 hours.
